In February 2016, UE Electronic and South China University of Technology jointly researched the project "Safe and Long-life Electric Energy Conversion Technology and Its Application in High-Reliability Power Supply", which won the second prize of the 2016 Technical Invention Award issued by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.
